Focus and Scope
“International Journal of Statistics & Economics” (ISSN 0975-556X), formerly known as the “Bulletin of Statistics & Economics” (ISSN 0973-7022), publishes papers in all areas of Statistics and Economics, emphasis is placed on the practical importance, theoretical interest and policy-relevance of their substantive results, as well as on the methodology and technical competence of the research. More general papers in statistics, probability, mathematical economics, microeconomic, macroeconomic, forecasting, business econometrics, computation, simulation, or graphics are also appropriate if they are immediately applicable to the journal's general topics of interest. Articles published in IJSE contain significant results, high-quality methodological content, excellent exposition, and usually include a substantive empirical application.

The IJSE is a peer-reviewed online journal, published in Spring and Autumn i.e. two times a year by CESER Publications.
“International Journal of Statistics & Economics” (ISSN 0975-556X), formerly known as the “Bulletin of Statistics & Economics” (ISSN 0973-7022), is reviewed by, and abstracted and indexed in EconLit, Journal of Economic Literature (American Economic Association), Mathematical Reviews, MathSciNet (American Mathematical Society), Current Index to Statistics (CIS) [ The Current Index to Statistics (CIS) is a joint venture of the American Statistical Association & Institute of Mathematical Statistics, USA], JournalSeek, Getcited, Cabell's Directory (of Cabell Publishing, USA) and Zentralblatt MATH (European Mathematical Society).

Call for Papers
Papers are invited for the “International Journal of Statistics & Economics” (ISSN 0975-556X), formerly known as the “Bulletin of Statistics & Economics” (ISSN 0973-7022). International Journal of Statistics & Economics publishes well-written and original research articles as well as studies that describe latest research and developments in statistics, economics and relevant areas of applied mathematics. This is a broad-based journal covering interdisciplinary research. IJSE is a peer-reviewed online journal and published two times a year.
Papers accepted in IJSE demonstrate the practical importance, theoretical soundness and policy-relevance of their substantive results. More general papers in statistics, probability, mathematical economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, forecasting, business econometrics, computation, simulation and graphics are also welcome if they highlight realistic potential applications to the journal's general topics of interest. Articles published in IJSE contain significant results and high-quality methodological content.
Authors should send their manuscripts electronically to the editor-in-chief. Papers previously published and are under consideration for publication elsewhere cannot be accepted. Authors must agree not to publish accepted papers elsewhere without the prior permission from the IJSE. The paper should not normally exceed 6000 words.
Manuscripts must be written in good English. Authors are encouraged to obtain assistance in the editing and proofreading of their manuscripts before submission. All contributions will be reviewed by at least two independent experts. Upon acceptance of an article, the author(s) are assumed to have transferred the copyright of the article to the IJSE. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information. Please refer to Instructions to Authors for detailed information on how to prepare the manuscript. |
